About Me

I started judo training in 1967 under Sensei James Dickie at his new judo club in Barrhead Glasgow. I was the first judoka from this club to gain their 1st Dan in January 1973. Reg No 269. I now live in Cumbria and run 2 judo clubs for the BJC. I am also Chairman of Cumbria and the Borders Area of the BJC.

I have spent over 45 years practising/teaching judo and still enjoy it as much today as I did way back in the 60's
